 William Sutherland II, born 1690 -1700 in Scotland.  Married in 1715 Hannah Avery (B. 1698 in Dutchess Couny, D. July 25 1752) .   Officer in the British Army 1710-1720
William bought land in Greenwich CT, Feb. 1723.
Believed to have been a carpenter.
